FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

• What payment methods are accepted? 
    Cash, Cheque, Debit, Major Credit Cards and even Email Money Transfer!

• How do I get started? 
    $50.00 Key Fob Deposit and Completion of Storage Rental Agreement upon receiving the Key – Keep in mind a minimum of 6 months payment is required for the storage lot.

When will my rent be due? 
    Rent is always due in advance.

What if my rent is not paid on time? 
    The keys are automatically programmed to expire upon the end of the Storage Contact.  After that point, a renewal must be paid or arrangements made to clean out your stall and return your key FOB. 

• Should I have insurance? 
    YES.  It is YOUR responsibility to insure your assets.  Do not assume that your homeowner’s policy or auto  insurance policy provides you with full or partial coverage for units in storage.  Please contact your insurance agent or broker for coverage details for off-site insurance of your unit.

• Will my unit be safe? 
    Unfortunately there are no guarantees in today’s world and incidents of accidental or deliberate nature are an unfortunate fact of life.  Measures to curtail loss or damage to property have been taken, in conjunction with Custom Communications & Security Inc. There exists only one point of access – an electronic gate restricting access only to those with an authorized access key.  Extensive, state of the art, video surveillance is strategically positioned throughout the compound. Please feel free to discuss these security measures with us at any time.

• When can I access my unit? 
    24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year round.

• Is there a deposit? 
    A Damage Deposit of $50.00 is taken, and returned when contract is completed, as long as the key is returned.

• How can I be a terrific customer?
• Observe the rules.
• Pay your rent on time.
• Be courteous
• Drive 10 km/h or less on site.
• Don’t block the driveways for other tenants.            
• No illegal activities.
• Be observant and notify the facility management if anything looks wrong to you.
• Please park within your designated stall area – if management has to correct parking position, tenant
will be contacted and parking fine applied to your account – second violation will result in loss of future renewal privileges.
• Please do not sit in gate area for extended period of time
• We also request that children be watched at all times. Pets should be kept contained to your unit or vehicle for their safety and that of our other tenants.
• In addition we discourage smoking and drinking of alcoholic beverages on site for 
obvious safety reasons.
